The inaugural Open Referral workshop is taking place at the California Endowment in Oakland, on July 9-10 from 8a-5p each day.

Purpose

To generate shared understanding of the needs for (and opportunities to create) accessible, interoperable, reliable and sustainable community resource directory data.

Objectives

learn about the perspectives and needs of different types of stakeholders in this field

to generate a 'minimally viable' shared vocabulary

to work towards alignment around vision and values

to articulate hypothesis to test and to identify (then prioritize) possible next steps
